To encourage maximum uptake of it's Christmas Park and Ride Service, which begins on Saturday December 3, Galway City Council is keeping the fare at a highly competitive level of just €2 per car irrespective of the number of passengers.

O’Donnellan and Joyce placed nine properties up for auction and successfully sold eight of them at its recent auction in the Victoria Hotel, Eyre Square.

After a very successful five-week promotion of the properties due to go to auction tomorrow O’Donnellan and Joyce foresee a huge turnout and a successful conclusion to the auction. In all, eight properties will go under the hammer, originally there were nine, but the property at 124 Dangan Heights was sold prior to auction when a substantial offer was made within the first three weeks of the campaign and the owners made the decision to accept it.

On Friday November 4 O’Donnellan & Joyce will offer for sale by public auction a superb property located in Ballybrit that stands on a large site with a number of outhouses.

On Friday September 30 the Victoria Hotel was bursting at the seams when O’Donnellan & Joyce launched its winter auctions with 15 properties going under the hammer on the first of three big auctions. So big was the crowd that O’Donnellan & Joyce had a second large screen set up in the bar area of the hotel where potential purchasers and clients could see the live auction and follow each property as it was being auctioned off by auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan. On that day 10 of the 15 properties sold under the hammer, with four of the remaining properties selling after the auction.
